Overview

More operators choose the MD950 for their business than any other model. Its popularity is due to driver and owner satisfaction with its overall dependability, configuration, safety and fuel efficiency.

Recent upgrades to the MD950 include reinforced stainless steel skirting, lowered cabinet for greater visibility, wider and longer hose trays and a reinforced lift with more surface area to transport restrooms. The catwalk is powder coated and sealed with a bed liner coating that extends up the side of the tank for increased protection in the work area. The tank also has a coated fresh water compartment with manway and round sight glasses to measure tank levels. For safety, an internal baffle system prevents tank contents from shifting, which can lead to loss of vehicle control during sudden stops or turns. For additional driver safety, a DOT safety equipment package is provided and includes a flag and reflector, first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Available in aluminum, mild or stainless steel.

The MD950 is specifically designed for both the Ford F550 and the Dodge 5500 chassis in both 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive configurations but can also be mounted to other chassis as well. The MD950 is a truck you will appreciate for its ease of operation, maneuverability, safety and after sale support from Satellite’s truck department. If you’re looking for dependability in an every day work truck the MD950 is the perfect choice.

Please note that trucks require ultra low sulfur diesel fuel and Urea.

Features

The inline vacuum system features a hot shift PTO with a PTO shaft to drive the vacuum pump which is mounted via a bracket attached to the chassis frame. The PTO, PTO shaft and the pump are all directly inline. This makes for the simple, clean, reliable system. Only available on 4X2 Ford due to space limitations.

The hydraulic vacuum system features a compact, integral PTO/pump combination working in conjunction with a separate hydraulic kit consisting of special platform, 15 gallon reservoir, hydraulic motor coupled to the vacuum pump and relief valve and hoses. This hydraulic kit can be mounted over rear wheel or under the tank skirting.

The service module features a gravity flow chemical system for recharging the restroom with fresh chemical. A Chemical/fresh delivery system with boom and latch assembly for recharging the toilet with the service hose and special wand is optional.
